Prisoner Of War (POW) Mini Size Anodized Medal

The Prisoner of War (POW) Medal is a military decoration awarded by the United States Armed Forces to honor members of the U.S. military who were captured or held captive by opposing forces after April 5, 1917. Eligibility for the medal requires the individual to have exhibited exemplary character while in captivity. Additional recognitions of the Prisoner of War Medal are indicated by Silver Stars attached to the service medal.
