Prisoner Of War (POW) Full Size Medal Anodized

The Prisoner of War (POW) Medal is awarded by the United States Armed Forces to honor U.S. military members who have been captured or held captive by opposing forces since April 5, 1917. Eligibility requires a demonstration of exemplary character during captivity. Additional recognitions for the Prisoner of War Medal are indicated by Silver Stars attached to the service medal.
