New Jersey National Guard Class A Full Color Patch

This is the full-color Class A uniform patch representing the New Jersey National Guard. The patch measures approximately 3 1/8 inches in height and 2 1/2 inches in width. The initial settlements that make up the state of New Jersey were of English and Dutch origin. The lion on the patch symbolizes these colonial powers and serves as a nod to the state's historical roots. The four diamonds are derived from the coat of arms of the early governor, Carteret.
