Navy & Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon

The Overseas Service Ribbon for the Navy and Marine Corps (NMCOS) is bestowed upon United States Navy and Marine Corps personnel upon the successful completion of a standard one-year cumulative overseas tour of duty. Established in 1987, additional accolades are denoted by attaching a Bronze Star device to the service ribbon.
