Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal Ribbon
Criteria: The Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal (NAM) is a commendation bestowed by the United States Department of the Navy upon U.S. Navy and Marine Corps service members who have demonstrated commendable performance in routine duties or outstanding achievements not acknowledged by a higher award. Initially designed to recognize junior members ineligible for the Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal or the Meritorious Service Medal, subsequent awards are indicated by silver and gold stars worn on the ribbon.
