• Qualification Requirements: To achieve the Master Diver Badge, soldiers must complete the military occupational specialty (MOS) 21D30 and the Basic NCO Course for MOS 21D30. They must also meet Army Physical Fitness Test standards and complete a Diver Physical Fitness Test (DPFT).
• Additional Skill Requirements: Master Divers must hold current life support CPR certifications from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, and they must continually meet qualification dive standards to retain their status.
• Diving Expertise: The Master Diver Badge signifies mastery in underwater operations, including advanced diving techniques and operational readiness for complex and hazardous missions.
