Kuwait Liberation Government of Kuwait Full Size Medal

The Kuwait Liberation of Kuwait Medal (KLM) is conferred by the Kuwaiti government to recognize individuals who participated in the Liberation of Kuwait Campaign. Eligibility requires service in Operation Desert Shield or Operation Desert Storm on regular duty, engaging in ground operations, naval vessel operations, or as a crew member in aerial flight operations between August 2, 1990, and August 31, 1993. Those on temporary duty must have served for at least 30 consecutive days or 60 nonconsecutive days, except for active combat operation participants.
