Kuwait Liberation Mini Size Anodized Medal

The Kuwait Liberation of Kuwait Medal (KLM) is awarded by the Kuwaiti government to individuals who contributed to the Liberation of Kuwait Campaign. Eligibility requires participation in Operation Desert Shield or Operation Desert Storm on regular duty, engaged in ground operations, naval vessel operations, or as a crew member in aerial flight operations from August 2, 1990, to August 31, 1993. Those on temporary duty must have served at least 30 consecutive days or 60 nonconsecutive days, unless involved in an active combat operation.
