An Appeal to Heaven

One of the initial unofficial flags used during the American Revolution was the Appeal to Heaven Flag, drawing inspiration from the writings of John Locke. Notably, early battles and triumphs, such as those at Bunker Hill and the Battle of Boston, unfolded beneath a banner proclaiming "an appeal to Heaven." Today, we find ourselves once more seeking divine intervention, asking for God's grace and blessings upon America. The primary text is II Chronicles 7:14, while the bottom of the print features seven flag bearers, each associated with six well-known Bible verses related to prayer.
