Coast Guard Good Conduct Mini Medal
The Coast Guard Good Conduct Medal (CGGCM) is awarded to enlisted Coast Guardsmen for three consecutive years of honorable service, devoid of disciplinary actions. If an offense occurs, the three-year period restarts from the date of the offense. Established in 1923, it is one of the Coast Guard's oldest awards. Initially, subsequent awards were indicated by enlistment bars, but in 1966, this changed to the use of bronze star devices.
