Coast Guard Good Conduct Anodized Mini Medal
The Coast Guard Good Conduct Medal (CGGCM) is awarded to enlisted Coast Guardsmen for three consecutive years of honorable service, free of disciplinary actions. If any offenses occur, the three-year period restarts from the date of the offense. Instituted in 1923, it is one of the Coast Guard's oldest awards. Initially, subsequent awards were shown with enlistment bars, but in 1966, this was replaced with bronze star devices.
