Decoration For Distinguished Civilian Service

The Army Distinguished Civilian Service Award Medal (DCSM) is presented by the Secretary of the Army to U.S. Army employees in recognition of extraordinary service and significant contributions to the achievement of Army missions. Generally, eligibility encompasses civilians not employed by Army contractors or the Army, Federal Government officials at the policy development level, and technical personnel who serve the Army in advisory capacities or as consultants.
