Army Achievement Medal Ribbon
The Army Achievement Medal (AAM) is awarded for outstanding achievement or meritorious service that doesn't warrant the Commendation Medal. Typically given to officers up to O-4 and enlisted members below E-7, it recognizes non-combat meritorious service. Introduced to honor contributions of enlisted personnel and junior officers ineligible for higher medals, additional recognitions are indicated by oak leaf clusters.
