World War II American Defense Anodized Mini Medal

The American Defense Medal - WW II (ADSM) is awarded to military personnel who served between September 8, 1939, and December 6, 1941. U.S. Army personnel must actively serve for at least one year during this period, while U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and U.S. Marine Corps members receive the ADSM for any length of active service within the eligible time frame.
