The United States Air Force Master Transportation Badge is a prestigious occupational badge earned by service members in the Air Force's transportation career field. Criteria:

General Officers: Upon entering a headquarters staff or command position, general officers wear the basic badge. After 12 months, they can upgrade to the next higher-level badge, continuing this progression every 12 months.

Officers: Officers wear the basic badge after graduating from technical school or attaining a fully qualified Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC). After 7 years in the specialty, they upgrade to the senior badge, and after 15 years of experience, they earn the master badge.

Enlisted: Enlisted personnel wear the basic badge after completing technical school. After achieving the 7-skill level, they earn the senior badge. The master badge is awarded to master sergeants or above, with 5 years of experience in the specialty after earning the 7-skill level.
