Air Force Cross Medal Ribbon

The Air Force Cross (AFC) is the second-highest military decoration for U.S. Air Force members, awarded for extraordinary heroism not meeting the criteria for the Medal of Honor. Eligibility is granted for actions during engagement with an enemy, military operations against a foreign force, or service alongside friendly foreign forces in conflict against an opposing armed force where the U.S. is not a belligerent party.
