Unit Crests, also known as Distinctive Unit Insignia, are exclusive emblems for each U.S. Army unit, derived from authorized coat of arms. They're worn by all personnel within the unit except for certain high-ranking officials. Enlisted personnel wear them centered on the shoulder loops of the green service uniform coat, while officers do the same on the shoulder loops, excluding the Class A uniform.
