5th Engineer Battalion Unit Crest (Courage Skill Strength)

Distinctive Unit Insignia, or "Unit Crests," unique to each U.S. Army unit, are derived from authorized coat of arms designs. All personnel wear them, excluding general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman. Enlisted personnel place unit crests on the green service uniform coat, while officers center them on shoulder loops. Wearing the unit crest on the Class A uniform is not allowed for enlisted personnel.
