4th Transportation Command Unit Crest (Freedom Through Mobility)

Distinctive Unit Insignia, officially known as "Unit Crests," is unique to each U.S. Army unit, derived from authorized coat of arms. Worn by all personnel within the organization, except for general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman. Enlisted personnel position unit crests on the green service uniform, with officers wearing them centered on the shoulder loops. Enlisted personnel are not authorized to wear the unit crest on the Class A uniform. Officers maintain an equidistant alignment from the inside edge of their grade insignia to the outside edge of the button, with the base of the insignia directed toward the outside shoulder seam.
