Criteria:

Unit Crests, officially designated as Distinctive Unit Insignia (DUI), are unique to each U.S. Army unit and are crafted from the authorized coat of arms. Worn by all personnel, excluding general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman, the insignia finds its place on the green service uniform coat. Enlisted personnel center it on the shoulder loops, maintaining equidistance from the outside shoulder seam to the button edge. It's important to note that enlisted personnel are prohibited from wearing the unit crest on the Class A uniform. Officers position the crest at the center of the shoulder loops, equidistant from their grade insignia to the button edge. These distinctive insignias are available for individual purchase.
