48th Infantry Regiment Unit Crest (Dragoons)

The distinctive unit insignias (DUI) are proudly worn by the 48th Infantry Regiment, headquartered at Ft. Leonardwood, MO, with the motto "Dragoons" and the nickname "Blood and Guts." Approved for wear in 1958, these unit crests are worn on both the Army Service Uniform (ASU) and the Army Class A Uniform (Greens).
