48th Chemical Brigade Unit Crest (To Protect the Nation)

Unit Crests, officially known as Distinctive Unit Insignia, are unique to each U.S. Army unit. The design is derived from the authorized coat of arms, worn by all personnel assigned to the organization, excluding certain high-ranking officials. Enlisted personnel wear unit crests on the green service uniform coat, centered on the shoulder loops, while officers follow specific guidelines for placement on their shoulder loops. The Class A uniform prohibits enlisted personnel from wearing the unit crest.
