44th ADA (Air Defense Artillery) Regiment Unit Crest (Per Ardua)
Distinctive Unit Insignia, or Unit Crests, are exclusive to each U.S. Army unit and are derived from the authorized coat of arms. All assigned personnel wear these insignias, excluding general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman. Enlisted individuals wear unit crests on the green service uniform coat, centered on the shoulder loops, and not on the Class A uniform. Officers position the unit crest on the shoulder loops, equidistant from the inside edge of their grade insignia to the outside edge of the button, with the base toward the outside shoulder seam.
