3rd Special Forces Group Oval Patch

This oval patch represents the 3rd Special Forces Group, an active-duty Special Forces unit with a history dating back to the Vietnam era. After a period of deactivation, it was reactivated in 1990 and is currently stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. Worn by Airborne or Air Assault organizations, this oval patch is positioned behind the Parachutist or Air Assault badge on the Army's Service Green uniform and is available for individual purchase.
