389th Regiment Unit Crest (We Will Try)

This item depicts the unit crest of the 389th Regiment. The unit's motto, "We Will Try," is inscribed in black lettering on the bottom scroll. Blue, representing the Infantry Corps, is the chosen color. The rising sun is inspired by the Seal of the State of New York, the unit's place of origin. Enlisted personnel proudly wear these on both the Army Green Service Uniform (AGSU) and the Army Service Uniform (ASU).
