35th Infantry Division Special Troops Battalion (Right) Unit Crest (Lightning Riders)
Distinctive Unit Insignia, officially known as Unit Crests, are unique to each U.S. Army unit, originating from the approved coat of arms. All personnel within the organization wear these insignias, excluding general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman. Enlisted personnel display unit crests on the green service uniform coat, centered on the shoulder loops. Officers center them on the shoulder loops, aligning with their grade insignia. It is not authorized for enlisted individuals to wear the unit crest on the Class A uniform.
