35th Infantry Division Special Troops Battalion (Left) Unit Crest (Lightning Riders)

Distinctive Unit Insignia, officially known as Unit Crests, are unique to each U.S. Army unit and are crafted from the authorized coat of arms. The insignia is worn by all personnel in the organization, excluding general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman. Enlisted personnel display unit crests on the green service uniform coat, centered on the shoulder loops, while officers center them on the shoulder loops, aligned with their grade insignia. The unit crest is not authorized for wear on the Class A uniform for enlisted individuals.
