339th Regiment Unit Crest (IIITBIKBPBIIIAETB)

These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 339th Regiment. Their motto, pronounced "shtuk ryshayet," III T bl K b Pb III A E T b, translates to "The Bayonet Decides." This unit served in the North Russia Intervention and WW2. All unit members wear these insignias, except for designated high-ranking officials. Such unit crests are worn on both the Army Green Service Uniform (AGSU) and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
