322nd Regiment Unit Crest (Excelsior)

These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 322nd Regiment, known as the "Wildcats." Their motto is Excelsior, which translates to "Still Higher." This DUI was initially approved for the 322nd Infantry Regiment in 1925 and was redesignated for the 322nd Regiment in 1993. Every member of the unit proudly wears these insignias, except for specified high-ranking officials. Such unit crests are worn on both the Army Green Service Uniform (AGSU) and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
