29th Signal Battalion Unit Crest (Clear and Open)
The 29th Signal Battalion proudly displays these unique unit insignias (DUI) with the motto "Clear and open." Adopting orange as its traditional color symbolizing the Signal Corps, the battalion is stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. This DUI, approved in 1942, holds historical significance for the 29th Signal Battalion. Unit crests are worn on both the Army Class A Service Green and the Army Service Uniform (ASU).
