27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team Unit Crest (Empire)

The distinctive unit insignias (DUI) are worn by the 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, featuring the motto "Empire" inscribed on each crest. These crests are worn by the New York Army National Guard (NY ARNG) and were originally approved for wear in 1995. Unit crests are part of the uniform for both the Army Class A Uniform (Greens) and the Army Service Uniform (ASU).
