23rd Infantry Division Unit Crest (Americal)

Unit Crests, officially named Distinctive Unit Insignia, are exclusive emblems for U.S. Army units. Crafted from authorized coat of arms designs, all personnel except high-ranking officers wear these insignias. Enlisted personnel position unit crests on green service uniform shoulder loops, while officers center them on loops, aligned with their grade insignia. Class A uniform wear is restricted for enlisted personnel. Officers wear unit crests centered on shoulder loops, equidistant from their grade insignia, on both uniforms.
