23rd Chemical Battalion Unit Crest (Two Joined As One)

Unit Crests, officially termed Distinctive Unit Insignia, are exclusive emblems for each U.S. Army unit. Derived from authorized coat of arms, all personnel wear the insignia, excluding high-ranking officers. Enlisted personnel position unit crests on green service uniform shoulder loops, while officers center them on loops, aligning with grade insignia. Class A uniform wear is restricted for enlisted personnel. Officers wear the crest centered on loops, equidistant from grade insignia, on both uniforms.
