228th Support Battalion Unit Crest (Where Others Leave Off)
The distinctive unit insignia (DUI) worn by the 228th Support Battalion bears the motto "Where Others Leave Off." As part of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, this battalion's symbolism largely reflects its contributions during the Korean War, including the Meritorious Unit Commendation and two Republic Of Korea Presidential Unit Citations. Originally approved for the 228th Supply and Transport, it was redesignated in 1992 for the 228th Support Battalion. These DUIs are worn on the Army Class A Service Green and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
