218th Regiment Unit Crest (Constans Animis)

This emblem serves as the unit crest, also referred to as distinctive unit insignia, for the 218th Regiment. The unit's motto, "Constans Animis," meaning "Steadfast Of Purpose," is depicted in blue letters on the sides of the design. The inclusion of the palmetto tree and the dead oak is inspired by the flag of South Carolina, where this unit is stationed. This item is worn on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
