217th Support Battalion Unit Crest (Praeparatus Et Volens)

The distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 217th Support Battalion (217th Maintenance Battalion). Their motto, Praeparatus Et Volens, translates to Prepared and Willing. Approved for wear in 1962, they are worn on both the Army Class A Uniform (Greens) and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
