217th Personnel Services Battalion Unit Crest (Committed to the Soldier)

Unit Crests, officially known as Distinctive Unit Insignia, are unique emblems for each U.S. Army unit. They are derived from the unit's authorized coat of arms. All personnel within the organization wear the insignia, except for high-ranking officials. Enlisted personnel affix the unit crests to the shoulder loops of the green service uniform coat, while officers wear them in a similar manner on their uniform jackets.
