1st Personnel Group Unit Crest (Serve And Sustain)
Distinctive Unit Insignia, commonly known as Unit Crests, are unique to each U.S. Army unit, derived from the authorized coat of arms. Worn by all personnel within the organization, except for general officers and certain senior leaders, they are centered on the green service uniform for enlisted personnel and on the shoulder loops for officers. Enlisted individuals are not permitted to wear the crest on the Class A uniform. Officers align the crest equidistantly from the inside edge of their grade insignia to the outside edge of the button, with the base facing the outside shoulder seam.
