1st NCO Academy Unit Crest (Leadership Through Knowledge)

Distinctive Unit Insignia, commonly known as Unit Crests, is specific to each U.S. Army unit and originates from the authorized coat of arms. All personnel within the organization, excluding general officers and certain senior leaders, wear them on the shoulder loops of the green service uniform for enlisted personnel. Officers center them on their shoulder loops. However, they are not permitted for wear on the Class A uniform for enlisted personnel.
