17th Cavalry Regiment Unit Crest (No Motto)

The unit insignia (Distinctive Unit Insignia or DUI) worn by the 17th Cavalry Regiment features the motto "Forward" and was approved in 1923. Initially established in Fort Bliss, TX, the regiment is currently dispersed across various army brigades. Unit crests are proudly worn on both the Army Service Uniform (ASU) and Army Class A Uniform (Greens).
