176th Engineer Brigade Unit Crest (Quod Incepimus Conficiemus)

The 176th Engineer Brigade wore these distinctive unit insignia (DUI). Their motto, "Quod Incepimus Conficiemus," translates to "What We Have Begun We Will Finish." A part of the Texas National Guard, the sword symbolizes the Brigade's combat readiness during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Unit crests are worn on the Army Class A Service Green and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
