16th Aviation Battalion Unit Crest (Parati - Respondere)
Distinctive Unit Insignia, commonly known as Unit Crests, are unique emblems for each U.S. Army unit, derived from the authorized coat of arms. All personnel in the organization wear these insignias, excluding general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman. Enlisted personnel attach unit crests to the green service uniform coat's shoulder loops, centered equidistantly from the outside shoulder seam to the button's outside edge. Enlisted individuals aren't authorized to wear the crest on the Class A uniform. Officers center the crest on shoulder loops, equidistant from their grade insignia, on both uniforms.
