16th ADA (Air Defense Artillery) Group Unit Crest (Vigilant Guardians)
Distinctive Unit Insignia, commonly known as Unit Crests, are exclusive emblems for each U.S. Army unit, derived from the authorized coat of arms. All personnel assigned to the organization, excluding general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman, wear the insignia. Enlisted personnel center the unit crests on the green service uniform coat's shoulder loops, avoiding use on the Class A uniform. Officers place the unit crest on the shoulder loops of both uniforms, centered equidistant from the inside edge of their grade insignia to the outside edge of the button, with the base toward the outside shoulder seam.
