169th Fires Brigade Unit Crest (Lenti Sumus)

The 169th Fires Brigade, Colorado Army National Guard, wears these distinctive unit insignia (DUI) with the motto "Lenti Sumus," meaning "We Are Flexible." Originally approved in 1971, these unit crests have been worn by the 169th Artillery Group, 169th FA Group, 169th FA Brigade, and finally the 169th Fires Brigade in 2008. They're worn on both the Army Service Uniform (ASU) and Army Class A Uniform (Greens).
