Unit Crests, also known as Distinctive Unit Insignia, are exclusive emblems originating from a unit's coat of arms. All unit members, excluding high-ranking officers, wear these insignias. Enlisted personnel display the crest on the shoulder loops of the green service uniform coat, while officers do so on their uniform jackets.
