157th Infantry Brigade Unit Crest (Vigilance and Valor)
Unit Crests, officially known as Distinctive Unit Insignia, are unique to each U.S. Army unit. They derive their design from the unit's authorized coat of arms. While commonly referred to as "Unit Crests," these insignias are worn by all personnel within the unit except for general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman. Enlisted personnel position the crest on the green service uniform coat's shoulder loops, while officers center it between their grade insignia and the button on the same loops.
