156th Field Artillery Regiment Unit Crest (Semper Procedamus)
The distinctive unit insignia (DUI) seen here were once worn by the 156th Field Artillery Regiment, bearing the motto "Semper Procedamus," meaning "Ever Onward." Initially approved in 1936, this insignia has undergone several redesignations. Most recently, it reverted to its original designation as the 156th Field Artillery Regiment in 1972, with subsequent amendments to refine its symbolism in 1980. These unit crests are typically worn on both the Army Class A Service Green and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
