156th Engineer Battalion Unit Crest (Ex Magno Ad Maximus) 

The 156th Engineer Battalion proudly displays these distinctive unit insignias (DUI) with the motto "Ex Magno Ad Maximus," translating to "Great To Greatness." Initially approved in 2007 for the Special Troops Battalion, 56th Brigade Combat Team, 36th Infantry Division, it was redesignated in 2014. Unit crests, including these DUIs, are worn on both the Army Service Uniform (ASU) and the Army Class A Uniform (Greens).
