Unit Crests, also known as Distinctive Unit Insignia, are unique emblems for U.S. Army units, derived from authorized coat of arms designs. All personnel wear these insignias, except for high-ranking officers. Enlisted individuals position them on the green service uniform coat's shoulder loops, while officers center them on their shoulder loops.
