151st Chemical Battalion Unit Crest (Get There First)

The distinctive unit insignia (DUI) previously worn by the 151st Chemical Battalion features the motto "Get There First." Originally approved for the 127th Engineer Battalion in 1926, its red and white (silver) colors signify its heritage. Through four redesignations, the DUI was last updated in 2002 for the 151st Chemical Battalion, part of the Alabama Army National Guard. These unit crests are worn on the Army Class A Service Green and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
